Apple is calling it the “biggest change to iOS” since the introduction of the iPhone. It looks like the general interface hasn’t changed much but the look of icons has been updated a bit. Control Center, which is available by swiping up from the bottom of your device, allows instant access to the camera, calculator and clock apps, in addition to settings for music, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and flight and sleep modes.

The Notification Center is available from the Lock screen and comes with the Today feature, which gives a summary of important daily details such as weather, traffic, meetings and events.
AirDrop means photos can be shared over a peer-to-peer Wi-Fi network with multiple friends, while the camera now comes with filters and swipe controls to switch between camera modes.
Siri now has male and female voices and includes Wikipedia and Twitter integration.
iOS 7, which also features FaceTime audio for high quality calls and Notification Sync for clearing notifications simultaneously on all devices, is released in the autumn.
