From time to time, nude photos arrive unsolicited, but no one expects them to be sent out by Apple.

37-year-old Lynn Collins from Carronshore, Falkirk, purchased a brand new iPhone around Christmas time and was greeted with several photos of male genitals when she powered up the “brand new” phone.

Lynn told The Sun, “It is a brand new phone, not a refurbished one or anything, so they couldn’t have been left there from a previous owner. I took the phone straight back to the shop to complain and the manager took a copy of the images, but couldn’t give me any explanation as to why the pictures were on the phone. They said they would get back in touch with me to let me know what happened but I haven’t heard anything three weeks on.”

Apple denied comment on the incident. A spokesperson from the store where Lynn purchased the phone did say that they will offer her a new device.
